What if I’m under 18?
All participants under 18 years of age are required to have a parent or legal guardian signature on the HYPE! Waiver. If a parent or legal guardian will not be accompanying the minor participant, on first visit, HYPE! must verify online waiver execution by parent/guardian via phone at check-in for minor to be admitted to HYPE! We require one waiver per participant and it must completely filled out.
Do I need a license to drive?
No!
What is the minimum age to drive?
Individuals at least 14-years-old and 55″ tall can drive our adult karts.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
No, HYPE! has everything you need to race. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes – no sandals, flip-flops or other shoes that don’t attach firmly to your feet.
Can I use my own helmet?
Absolutely! Standard helmets with a visor, and motocross helmets with strapped on goggles are acceptable. Open face helmets or helmets with little or no eye protection cannot be worn.
Can big and tall drivers fit?
Our karts have adjustable pedals and seats and a longer frame. You can always ask for a courtesy-fit if you are unsure.
Is there a participant weight limit?
Yes, the maximum weight for participants is 300lbs.
